Hydro-VIP Signature Facial

Many of our patients regularly undergo our VIP Signature Facial which works to improve the overall look and feel of the skin. Conditions such as: fine lines and wrinkles, dull / dry skin and an uneven tone are commonly experienced by many people, and often occur as a result of natural ageing. The tired look that ageing skin presents is a concern for many, and the desire for a fresher, youthful appearance continues to grow in popularity.

Our VIP Signature Facial is as special as it sounds, but when we combine it with the incredible Hydrofacial, the whole experience is taken to the next level. A range of rejuvenating processes make up this exceptional treatment, which can noticeably improve the quality and condition of the skin.

As a range of techniques are used in this treatment our practitioners will need to carry out a very thorough pre-treatment assessment. After listening to your concerns, and assessing the needs of your skin, we’ll be required to establish your suitability for each process involved. We often use the Observ Skin Scanner to examine the skin’s internal and external condition which will also help us to predict your response to each individual procedure.
Our practitioners will also explain each treatment technique in full, including what to expect afterwards and the expected outcome. As a combination treatment, the Hydro VIP Signature Facial can be adapted to include the procedures that are needed, both for your skin and for bespoke results.

Individual Treatment Programme

The entire Hydro VIP Signature Facial can take between 60 and 90 minutes depending on your customised sequence of treatments.
We’ll begin by carrying out the rejuvenating Hydrofacial procedure which includes: deep cleansing, exfoliation, extraction of debris from the pores, nourishing serums and lymphatic drainage stimulation. This system will help to improve the health and hydration of the skin in order to revive a bright and radiant glow.
This is followed by the VIP treatment which involves a unique combination of procedures, including:
Microneedling Skin Surface Renewal – a series of microneedles puncture the skin to encourage the process of repair and cellular renewal. This also triggers the production of new collagen fibres;
Lift and Sculpt Massage technique – increasing lymphatic drainage and circulation helps to eliminate toxins;
ZO Skin Health Growth Factor Serum – improving skin health from within stimulates the production of collagen and the regeneration of new skin cells;
Dermalux LED Light Therapy – light waves are absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin for all round repair and rejuvenation.
The treatment is then completed by applying a range of antioxidants and peptides for extra nourishment and hydration.

Further Advice

The Microneedling part of this treatment is a little more invasive than other bespoke facials. Therefore, you may experience some minor side effects following the treatment. Generally, the skin looks red and may be a little swollen due to the response from having pricked the skin. Having said this, microneedling is a great way to naturally rejuvenate the skin as the body takes care of this process all by itself. Creating microchannels also increases absorption rate so when applying nourishing serums, they will be more effective and produce greater results. There is also the potential for small crusts to form on the skin as the tiny pin-pricks heal, and it’s important that these are left to fall off on their own and you resist the temptation to pick.

How soon will I see results?

The Hydrofacial range of combination treatments will allow for instant results that continue to get better over a number of days or weeks. Your skin should appear to look more radiant immediately following the treatment, with the effects of microneedling and advanced skincare taking between 4 and 6 weeks to fully develop.

Taking extra care of the skin is always advisable following a treatment such as this. You will need to allow for any redness and swelling to subside before the full outcome is noticeable, being careful not to disrupt any crusts that form on the skin. Our practitioners will advise a suitable skincare regime to help maintain the skin’s health, and we always recommend a daily application of a high SPF.
