Procedure

This type of advanced skin needling procedure involves using the electronic eDermastamp microneedling device, a product of quality German engineering, to create an abundance of channels in the outer layers of your skin. In turn, this stimulates rapid natural repair and regeneration of the skin for an appearance that is ultimately more youthful, healthy and smooth. The treatment is fully adjustable in terms of needling depth, allowing for a completely personalised procedure depending on your wants and needs as a patient. We will apply a topical anaesthetic to the surface of your skin prior to the treatment so as to eliminate pain and discomfort even further. Immediately after your procedure we will place you under the Dermalux LED light to help aid skin repair and rejuvenation.

Aftercare

Soon after your treatment, your skin begins to heal as new collagen and skin cells form, repairing and rejuvenating the dermis layer. Although this may take a number of weeks, this process continues to work for months post-treatment, allowing for long-lasting and effective results. Your skin may initially feel both warm and tight, with some redness. This is completely normal and should subside in mere hours, although your therapist may suggest recovery products to help speed up this process. An effective daily skincare routine is recommended to care for your newly rejuvenated skin and optimise the results of your microneedling treatment. When will I see results from EDS?

A plumping effect can be seen almost immediately after treatment, however the natural healing process takes time, so it can anything up to 4 weeks before you see significant improvements. In the months that follow, you should see continued improvements.

How many treatments will I need?

For the best results, you will need 3 EDS Treatments 4-6 weeks apart. This allows new collagen growth between each treatment.
